Refugee

You are alive because you fled.

When catastrophe struck your homeland on the continent of Onos—whether through war, arcane disaster, famine, invasion, or something far worse—you were forced to abandon everything you knew. You survived the collapse of order, crossed borders that no longer mattered, and learned to endure hunger, fear, and suspicion.

Refugees carry more than scars. They carry memories of what was taken, and the knowledge that it could happen again—anywhere.

  • Ability Scores: Constitution, Wisdom, Charisma
  • Skill Proficiencies: Endurance, Survival
  • Tool Proficiency: Cook’s Utensils
  • Equipment: Cook's Utensils, Traveler’s Clothes, Trinket (a keepsake from your homeland), {{{Menge}}} Silber

Feature: Tough

Your Hit Point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your character level when you gain this feat. Whenever you gain a character level thereafter, your Hit Point maximum increases by an additional 2 Hit Points.

Refugees are shaped by loss, displacement, and constant uncertainty. Their experiences teach them adaptability, caution, and emotional restraint. Their ideals often center on survival, hope, or justice, while their bonds may be tied to lost homes, missing loved ones, or fellow displaced people. Their flaws commonly arise from fear, mistrust, guilt, or an inability to feel safe again.
