Survivor
You survived an encounter that should have erased you.
In the borderlands of Anaya, you served as a guard, soldier, scout, or escort when your unit encountered something that was not meant to be understood. The reports never matched the reality. Orders failed. Formations collapsed. Whatever emerged did not behave like a creature—it behaved like a contradiction.
You ran. Or were thrown clear. Or woke up alone.
You are alive, but you carry fractured memories, recurring visions, and knowledge that cannot be safely shared. Others may doubt your story. You do not.
- Ability Scores: Constitution, Wisdom, Charisma
- Skill Proficiencies: Perception, Survival
- Tool Proficiency: Navigator’s Tools

You gain the following benefits.
- Initiative Proficiency. When you roll Initiative, you can add your Proficiency Bonus to the roll.
- Initiative Swap. Immediately after you roll Initiative, you can swap your Initiative with the Initiative of one willing ally in the same combat. You can't make this swap if you or the ally has the Incapacitated condition.
- Preparedness. You are immune to the Surprised condition.
- Watchful. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to notice ambushes.
Personality Traits
Survivors are shaped by proximity to something that defies reality. Their experiences fracture their memories and sharpen their instincts. They often struggle to articulate what they know, relying instead on intuition, repetition, or ritual. Their ideals are born from trauma, their bonds from loss, and their flaws from knowledge that refuses to stay buried.
