<p>Elfen gelten in Onos als die erste bekannte denkende Rasse.<br></br>
Nach elfischer Überlieferung, und wissenschaftlichen sowie magischen Theorien, entstammen sie nicht einer göttlichen Schöpfung im klassischen Sinne oder durch natürliche Evolution, sondern einem Dungeon von unvorstellbarem Alter.</p>
<p>Dieser Ursprung liegt in Sean Mór, einem gewaltigen, uralten Baum auf der abgelegenen Insel Ioflyae. Sean Mór war einst ein voll entwickelter Dungeon mit eigenem Kern, dessen Einfluss weit über physische Räume hinausging. Aus seinen Tiefen gingen Kreaturen hervor, die zunächst eher Monstern glichen – instinktgeleitet, magisch durchdrungen und unfertig.</p>
<p>Mit der Zeit jedoch veränderte sich Sean Mór. Der Dungeon erstarkte, stabilisierte sich – und seine Schöpfungen entwickelten Bewusstsein, Sprache und Kultur. Aus Monstern wurden Elfen.</p>
<p>Für die Elfen ist Sean Mór nicht nur Ursprung, sondern kosmische Konstante:<br></br>
ein Weltenbaum, ein Anker der Magie, ein stiller Beobachter. Auch wenn er heute kein aktiver Dungeon mehr ist, gilt er als lebendig – wachsam, wenn auch fern.</p>
<h3 id="section"></h3>
<p>Elfen besitzen ein Erscheinungsbild, das in vielen Regionen als klassisch elfisch gilt:</p>

<li>Schlanker, geschmeidiger Körperbau</li>
<li>Spitz zulaufende Ohren</li>
<li>Feingliedrige Gesichtszüge</li>
<li>Augen, die oft eine ungewöhnliche Klarheit oder Tiefe besitzen</li>

<p>Unabhängig von ihrer Herkunft haftet Elfen eine subtile magische Präsenz an. Selbst ohne aktive Zauber wirken sie auf viele Sterbliche „nicht ganz real“ – als stünden sie leicht außerhalb des Flusses der Welt.</p>
<h3 id="section"></h3>
<p>Elfen altern kaum im herkömmlichen Sinne. Physisch erreichen sie ihre Reife früh und verändern sich danach nur minimal. Geistig jedoch reifen sie über Jahrhunderte. Theoretisch können Elfen tausende von Jahren leben. In der Praxis jedoch geschieht dies selten.<br></br>
Irgendwann – oft nach Jahrhunderten oder gar einem Jahrtausend – verspürt ein Elf den sogenannten Ruf der Natur.</p>
<p>Dieser Ruf ist kein Zwang, sondern eine unumkehrbare Gewissheit. Der Elf weiß, dass seine Zeit unter den Seinen endet.</p>
<p>Der elfischen Kultur folgend:</p>
<ul>
<li>verabschiedet sich der Betroffene in einer Abschiedsfeier</li>
<li>reist alleine, nur mit dem Nötigsten</li>
<li>und kehrt niemals zurück</li>

<p>Was genau mit jenen geschieht, die dem Ruf folgen, ist unbekannt.<br></br>
Für Elfen gilt es als Tod – jedoch nicht als tragischer, sondern als vollendeter.</p>

<p>Elfen sind <strong>die</strong> magische Rasse von Onos. Unvertrübt von äußeren Einflussen, als die Welt noch primodial und vielfältig war.</p>
<p>Magie ist für sie keine Disziplin, sondern ein natürlicher Zustand. Ihre Körper, ihr Geist und ihre Wahrnehmung sind von klein auf mit Mana des Manastroms verwoben.</p>
<p>Viele Elfen erlernen im Laufe ihres Lebens magische Fähigkeiten – nicht aus Ehrgeiz, sondern aus Selbstverständnis. Zauber werden studiert, beobachtet, erfühlt.</p>
<p>Besonders unter Hochgeborenen ist es verbreitet, die Ströme der Magie selbst wahrzunehmen: Muster, Spannungen, Resonanzen. Für sie ist ein gewirkter Zauber nicht nur ein Effekt, sondern eine lesbare Signatur.</p>

<p>Elfische Gesellschaften sind langlebig, bedacht und stark von Erinnerung geprägt.</p>

<p>Sean Mór spielt dabei eine ambivalente Rolle:<br></br>
Für viele Elfen ist er mehr Mythos als Realität. Nur wenige haben ihn je gesehen, und noch weniger verspüren eine aktive Bindung zu ihm.</p>
<p>Die Elfen von Ioflyae, die sich selbst als Urelfen bezeichnen, gelten als Ausnahme. Sie bewahren strenge Kriterien für Zugehörigkeit und leben in relativer Isolation.</p>

<p>Trotz gemeinsamer Herkunft haben sich im Laufe der Zeit unterschiedliche elfische Kulturen und Lebensweisen entwickelt.</p>

<p>Hochelfen gelten als die Nobilität unter den Elfen. Sie können ihre Abstammung oft bis zu den ersten Generationen aus Sean Mór zurückverfolgen.</p>

<p>Waldelfen bilden die größte elfische Bevölkerungsgruppe. Ursprünglich lebten sie in der Krone von Sean Mór, zwischen Ästen und Blättern, wo sie den Baum gegen äußere Gefahren verteidigten.</p>

<p>Drow sind die Wurzelkrieger der Elfen. Einst bewachten sie die tiefen Wurzeln von Sean Mór unter der Erde. Dort passten sie sich der Dunkelheit an und breiteten sich schließlich weit über die Insel hinaus in unterirdische Regionen aus.</p>
<p>Mit dem Rückzug Sean Mórs als aktiver Dungeon ging ihr ursprünglicher Auftrag verloren. Dennoch scheint der Baum sie nicht vergessen zu haben.</p>
<p>Es wird gemunkelt, dass Sean Mór die Drow noch immer beobachtet und sie als Prioritätsziel gegen übermächtige Bedrohungen betrachtet.</p>

<p>Elfen begegnen anderen Rassen meist mit ruhiger Distanz.</p>
<ul>
<li>Kurzlebige Völker wirken auf sie flüchtig, aber nicht wertlos</li>
